Enough with the Fog

Waking up to thick, heavy fog is okay for about five minutes. That’s the time it usually takes to realize you’re probably going to have to drive in it. Along with other people– on the already icy roads. People who might not be very good drivers in fog. Instead of burning off, it lasted all day and into the night. Even the wildlife is confused. This morning we saw a barn owl flying low over our street looking lost. Probably thought it was still night time.
So, we’ve had time to enjoy the fog, now let’s have some wind and blow this pea soup out of here.
One of the big selling points about Northern Nevada is its sunshine. Three hundred days a year, or thereabouts. It’s good to change things up a bit. But really, enough is enough.
